Gifted Services

The Fairfield County Educational Service Center provides services to support the development and growth of local school district programming for gifted students. The ESC collaborates with local district administration and staff to integrate and align services and programming in accordance with policies and best practices outlined by the Ohio Department of Education. These services are provided to districts for a fee.

Gifted Services include:

  • Testing and identification
  • Placement of gifted students
  • Communication among parents, teachers and administrators
  • Written Educational Plans (WEP) assistance
  • Acceleration evaluations
  • Gifted program evaluation
  • Compliance and accountability requirements
  • Professional Development
  • Family support
  • Other identified needs
