      This book study meets the 15 clock-hour gifted HQPD requirement



November 15-December 17, 2021

Fee is waived for Gifted Teachers from Amanda Clearcreek, Berne Union, Bloom-Carroll, and Walnut Township.

Use this must-have guide to challenge students' thinking, promote rigor, and build engaging authentic, real-world, inquiry-based learning experiences through project-based learning in the gifted service classroom. This study will outline how to implement PBL in a gifted classroom, including helpful examples and reproducible lessons, emphasis on student choice and differentiation, and a step-by-step process for connecting projects with content-area standards.

This 15-hour asynchronous online book study is self-paced for users to complete at their convenience, and meets the 15 clock-hour gifted HQPD requirement.

Participants must purchase their own copy of PBL for Gifted Students and will need a Gmail account to participate. Upon successful completion of this course, participants will receive a certificate that states they met the Ohio Gifted HQPD 15 clock hour requirement.

One-hour Ashland University graduate credit is available for $249.  Fairfield County ESC member districts may purchase one hour of Ashland University graduate credit at the discounted rate of $195.
