Driving Question: How can I design high-quality PBL units for my classroom?
Want to learn how to design a high-quality project based learning unit for your in-person or online classroom? This 24-hour online course is composed of 12 hours of asynchronous instruction via Google Classroom as a review of the foundational elements for high-quality PBL design and culminates with two days of synchronous instruction with a PBLMatters facilitator to help you put your PBL design into action. Participants will find the course to be very robust with video case studies and engaging feedback protocols. Teachers will leave the course with a high-quality PBL design and a treasure chest of PBL resources to help them confidently implement PBL in their classroom. Prior to the workshop, participants (based on their grade level band) will receive one of these PBLWorks books: PBL in the Elementary Grades (K-5) or the PBL Starter Kit (6-12) to assist them with their PBL unit design.
