Home schooling is an educational opportunity provided for in Ohio law.  It allows the parent to withdraw their student from school and assume responsibility for their child’s education.  If this option is chosen, proper notification must be made to the Educational Service Center (ESC).  The following information describes the notification process and parent responsibility.

Letter to Parent/Guardian
Request For Home Schooling (1.36 MB)  Dialup: About 3-5 min.  High Speed: Less than a minute.
Rules For Excuses From Compulsory Attendance (2.31 MB)  Dialup: About 6-9 min.  High Speed: Less than a minute.
